Nutrition has been my passion and my career for over a decade. I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2007. I have worked in Community Health, metabolic weight loss centers and private health companies.
I was an adjunct nutrition professor at Arkansas State University. I love to teach.
Teaching students or teaching others to be a healthier version of themself is what I love. This is how I can help YOU. My passion for nutrition and sharing it with others shines through.
I returned to school in 2018 to complete the Dietetic Internship from Iowa State University. My areas of expertise are weight loss, community health, disease prevention, and nutrition for runners.
In my free time, I love running. This started with just one mile. When people see me today, they think I always enjoyed running. I have always been active, but running was something I learned to love. I ran my first 5k the same day I graduated from graduate school. Why not pick up a new hobby?
This lead me all the way to 100 mile races. I say this to let you know I practice what I preach. I am not saying you have to be a runner, but being active is the key, and proper nutrition will be one piece of what gets you to your goals.
My motto is "It is not a quick fix, It's forever". That is what I am here to help you with on your journey to better health. There is not a one size fits all meal or menu. I do not use the word diet, as it is associated with short term goals. I am here to assist you with long term, sustainable goals that work for your lifestyle.
